Nottingham City Transport is putting up some of its bus fares as the operator continues to face rising costs. NCT has just carried out an annual review of its fares and price changes will be coming in from Sunday, March 31. The changes include an increase to under-19 tickets and to adult day tickets in the city zone. NCT says the average increase in fares is 4.2%, but that the Government-funded £2 cap on a single fare will remain. David Astill, NCT's managing director, said: "We have worked hard to devise a fares increase for 2024 which has the minimum impact on our customers. We are pleased to confirm that our weekly and monthly Easyrider prices are frozen which is great news for Nottingham’s regular bus users."
