Lyndsay Johnson, from Nottingham, recently embarked on a trip to the US and Canada - she couldn't believe what she saw from her hotel room after she arrived at night
A woman from Nottingham was left in tears after waking up in her hotel room and looking behind her curtain.
She took to TikTok to showcase what appeared to be a regular hotel room in a video that quickly garnered more than 600,000 views. However, as she switched off the light, the night time splendour of Niagara Falls - glowing in the night - unfolded before her through the window. "I stood in front of them and wished out loud that the view would be good, but nothing could have prepared me for how spectacular it was when I eventually opened the curtains. The horseshoe falls were right outside my window; it was magical and everything I hoped for I burst into tears!"
Another commented in surprise: "I was expecting a fail! The way my jaw dropped." "Might be the best view I've ever seen from a hotel," a third person said.
