Raiders star Jack Wighton has revealed the 'absolutely abhorrent' abusive messages he received from fans after his move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs was announced.
The NRL will investigate fans who have messaged Canberra Raiders playmaker Jack Wighton"abhorrent" abuse since his move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs was announced.
The Raiders playmaker posted this photo of the abuse he received on his Instagram story. Picture: Instagram “The integrity unit are investigating and will be cooperating with the relevant authorities to take appropriate action.” Wighton recently tested his value on the open market and announced he was retiring from representative football to focus on his family and club duties with the aim of winning a premiership.
