It’s been a lovely weekend but the weekend has sadly drawn to an end. Monday has reared its ugly head and it’s back to work for the lot of you. Here in the desert it’s been raining and hailing and it’s all quite lovely but I may need a new roof after the last bout of hail. It was really coming down! In any case, let’s solve today’s Strands grid . . . .is the newest game in the New York Times’ stable of puzzle games. It’s a fun twist on classic word search games.
To help you uncover all the words, here are the first two letters of every word, including the spangram, in today’s puzzle:Before we list all the words, I’ll tell you today’s Spangram and show you where that is on the grid.This was a fun Strands—a bit tricky to find a word in the beginning until I found the QU pairing. From here I worked around to find something it could go with and discovered CROQUET, one of my favorite lawn games.
