Events are being held across the city
Nottingham food and drink fans are in for a treat as Oktoberfest is set to take place across the city centre in the next few celebrating the very best in all things German. The festival officially begins on the second to last Saturday in September at noon in Germany.
All washed down with generous helpings of beer. If you fancy joining the festivities, then here is our guide to the very best in German-inspired Oktoberfest events across the city centre.Annie's Burger Shack Pop up Pub kitchens Alfreton Road The restaurant will be partnering with the independent brewery, Blue Monkey’s Organ Grinder pub in Alfreton Road on Saturday nights. The first pop-up will take place Saturday, October 1 from 3 pm until 9 pm. Annie will be moving away from burgers offering American-inspired German frankfurters, Bratwursts, meatballs and sides to drinkers.To be fair, Bierkeller is a German-inspired bar all year round not just for Oktoberfest.
