Many parents are choosing 'old school' names for their newborns
Around 385,000 babies are born worldwide every day, and each one needs a unique and adorable name.
According to Baby Centre, a popular parenting website, old-fashioned names like Edith, Alfred, and Eva are making a comeback. The top favourite "old lady chic" name is Ada, followed closely by Agatha, Agnes, and Alethea. Ada, a girl's name of German origin, means "noble" or "of nobility". If you're expecting a boy, don't worry, because Baby Centre has also shared a list of "classic old man names" too. This list is full of names like Abe, Abel, Abraham, and Albert, which are all cute choices for your new favourite person.
If an old school name isn't at the top of your list, Baby Centre has a list of the most popular names topping this year's chart.
