Officers pulled the man over for equipment violations on his car. But when asked to identify himself, the man driving refused to give his name.A traffic ticket that officers found in the car, though, provided the police with all the identification information they needed. Officers then discovered the man was wanted for arrest on five outstanding felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant.
A woman reported July 1 that someone broke into her car in an attempt to steal the vehicle from an apartment complex parking lot.Officers responded July 1 to a report of a man brandishing a gun in the parking lot of Dollar General on East 200th Street. When they arrived, they spotted a man fitting the description in the car that had been reported. When officers attempted to stop the driver and investigate, the suspect drove into a police cruiser and then fled.
