Stan Collymore has claimed that Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah can fire Liverpool back into title contention.
Signs have been positive at Anfield with the emergence of Nunez as well as the consistency of Salah. "Liverpool will challenge for the title this season," Collymore told LordPing. "The big question at the start of the season was on Liverpool’s midfield. "Liverpool have started the season very well. They lost to Spurs in controversial circumstances, but other than that they have performed well," the former Liverpool midfielder added.
Nunez is starting show the fruits of his labour as a Liverpool number nine. The Uruguay talisman suffered intense criticism and scrutiny during his debut season in the Premier League.
