One Foot In The Grave star Doreen Mantle dies aged 97
Best known for her performance as Jean Warboys in the BBC comedy series One Foot In The Grave, the much loved star also had appearances in Doctors and Coronation Street.
The actress was also no stranger to a theatre stage either, as she also trod the boards in Death Of A Salesman for the National Theatre, for which she won an Olivier Award in 1979 for actress of the year in a supporting role. Since the sad announcement of her death, fans have been paying tribute to the acting legend who brought so much joy on stage and screen throughout her life.
