Lytham Festival has grown exponentially over the years, with huge acts coming to perform on the Fylde Coast stage, but what are the nights really like and is it worth going?

Lytham Festival has created a name for itself over the years, with big headliners taking to the Fylde Coast stage.

Although I'm not directly affected by it, I have to give my two pence - the parking at the event was at a charge of £20. Yes, £20. Now, that wasn't for an entire 24-hours including board, it was just to park your car on the green for the duration of the performances. We chose to have the best of both worlds, ordering a pork gyros from the Greek-food van and a steak sandwich elsewhere. Both, unsurprisingly on the expensive side, but delicious and filling nevertheless.

Both of the supporting artists were fantastic - they were truly incredible singers, with beautiful songs that got the crowd captivated, entranced and singing along. Although I'd never heard of them beforehand, I'll certainly be following them now.
