Mr Bandt told Sky News Australia that property investors have the ability to pass on financial “pain” whilst renters are left to pick up the bill. “All the pain gets pushed onto renters and that is untenable,” he said. “There’s a third of the country who rents – Labor’s got no plans for them, the Liberals have got no plan for them. “Only the Greens are fighting for renters.”
