Two thirds of Brits are choosing to stay at home instead of going out opting for what 55 per cent call a more 'peaceful' evening
The study, which polled 2,000 adults, discovered that the first thing 55 per cent of people do when they get home is change into something more comfortable, ready for a night in.
When at home 13 per cent seize these quiet moments to finally finish a video game they've been playing for months. While a whopping 74 per cent confessed they relish having 'nothing to do'. Cleo Hector, from Timotei, commented: "As we move from summer into the chillier months, it seems many Brits are keen to slow down and be gentler to themselves. Most are looking to boost their wellness routines this winter."
The survey also revealed that 66 per cent of Brits prefer a cosy night in over a night out, finding it more comfortable at home. Over half find staying in more 'peaceful' than going out, and 48 per cent enjoy the chance to fully relax.Over half of the respondents prefer a quiet night in on their own rather than going out, with two-thirds actively cancelling social engagements to relish some solitude.
