State weather bureau PAGASA said it continues to monitor the Low Pressure Area spotted 900 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao, even as the Southwest Monsoon will still bring rains over Luzon and Visayas.In its 4 p.m. daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, PAGASA said that while the LPA has a small chance of developing into a tropical storm in the next 24 hours, it is still being tracked as it remains in the Philippine Sea.
It will also cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Cordillera Administrative Region, Tarlac, and Pampanga, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.Mindanao will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.Possible flash floods and landslides may occur due to said weather conditions.
