Police have confirmed they attended an alleged incident in Town Shop on Paisley's Causeyside Street yesterday (Saturday, August 24). Two people have been charged.
Officers have arrested a man and a woman after a shop in Paisley was allegedly trashed during a disturbance yesterday evening .
The incident took place in Town Shop on Causeyside Street in the Renfrewshire town, with footage going viral on social media. The X clip, which has racked up thousands of views, shows a man and woman in the store with stock all over the floor. The pair were forced out of the shop and police were called to the scene, reports the Record. A 31-year-old woman and 48-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident. A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.15 pm on Saturday, August 24, we were called to an ongoing incident where a man and a woman were causing a disturbance within a takeaway shop in Causeyside Street, Paisley."Officers attended and a 31-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were arrested and charged in connection and will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
