Luxury Italian fashion house Versace has cut ties with the luxurious Gold Coast hotel Palazzo Versace Hotel meaning the hotel will lose most of the branding and the Medusa heads will be removed.
Representatives of the hotel recently visited the company’s headquarters in Milan where a new agreement couldn’t be reached.
Sources familiar with the talks say the current owners had not maintained the hotel to “the standard of the House of Versace”.
