A police investigation is underway in Manchester after pro-Palestine protesters are understood to have daubed red paint over a building in the city centre.

The force said initial enquiries have revealed a 'group of people' approached the building before 'throwing paint over it' at around 3.50am. Protest group Palestine Action posted images on its social media platforms showing a police officer at the scene, together with the damage caused. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the group said it had targeted the offices of a company based at the Quoin building.
