Sprinter Zac Shaw, from Grimsby, says it shows how differently Paralympians are treated.
A Paralympian sprinter from Grimsby has called out the organisers of an exclusive after-show party for treating Olympians and Paralympians differently.
A spokesperson for the store said: "There has been a failure of communication on our part here and we are truly sorry."Zachary Shaw and Alison Smith competing in the 4x100m Universal Relay in Paris Neither Shaw nor his partner Ali Smith, also a Paralympic sprinter, could find an invite so the pair assumed it was an event for Olympians only. "We are really sorry that we could not do both of the planned parties together, which would have been our preference, but we are restricted on space and simply could not have fitted everyone in at the same time," the message said.
