Parents can receive extra support for childcare while working
Parents across the country will now see an increase in support following an uprate in benefits and payments for the new tax year.
Because of the reforms and rate increases, now is as good a time as any to claim Child Benefit. You may also be able to get other childcare help through Universal Credit. Childcare costs can be claimed up to three months of past childcare at a time, however, any costs going past a month may result in you not getting all of the money you otherwise would have been entitled to.
The key form involved in the process is the FSF3 which must also be completed by the claimant's childcare provider.
