Many children struggled to get on public transport as the new term started
Worried parents slammed North Lanarkshire Council after their children struggled to get to school during the first week back at their studies.

“My mum and dad don’t drive and rely on buses and they say it’s the same all the time, no matter what time of day it is. Another mum, Annmarie Friel added: “Kids are being refused to get on First buses. Drivers only allowing seven school kids on at a time. Kids waiting over an hour for a bus is a joke. Things will only get worse in the dark winter nights.”
