With two premises in Wales, Envico wanted to expand and decided that a base in the north of England or Scotland would allow them to supply customers in these areas more easily and cost effectively.
Welsh engineering company, Envico, is the latest business to locate to North Lanarkshire – expanding its UK operations and creating 20 new jobs.

They received a £50,000 capital expenditure grant from the council to install a new extraction system, as well as assistance with recruitment and an introduction to the Business Gateway Lanarkshire service.He said: “The company move to Cumbernauld has been very successful, allowing us to significantly reduce delivery costs for customers in Scotland, Ireland and the north of England and, with less transport journeys, we have reduced our carbon footprint too.
“We welcome Envico’s move to Cumbernauld, one of the many companies choosing the area to set up,” said Councillor Alex McVey, convener of North Lanarkshire Council’s Enterprise and Fair Work Committee.
