Patrick Kielty couldn't keep his face straight tonight as he opened the Late Late Show's St Patrick's Day special tonight with a saucy joke.
The Late Late host explained what he and the team were hoping to do and encouraged viewers to play along at home if they wanted to. Holding back giggles, he added: "That's not a rude joke, I have no idea why you found that rude. We all enjoy a fiddle on the sofa."The first guests tonight were former rugby stars Tommy Bowe and Donncha O'Callaghan to discuss Ireland's Six Nations performance ahead of the Super Saturday clash with Scotland."Brilliant. Love it," wrote one viewer.
The viral moment happened in 2021 when co-host Clare McKenna started to introduce the next guest on the morning show: “Author Seamus O’Reilly was just five years old when he and his ten siblings-”Before Clare continued: “Sadly lost their mum.”A clip of the moment went viral and is still doing the rounds to this day, with even Tommy himself making a funny video recently making fun of himself.
