A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck in Burwood East. 7NEWS
The male driver of the truck stopped at the scene. He was not injured and is currently assisting police with their investigation into the incident.
According to FRV, a patient had to be “extricated” but it is unclear whether it was the pedestrian or driver.VicTraffic has advised motorists to use Highbury Road or Canterbury Road instead, and to allow for extra travel time.
