Brian Healion, a 33-year-old Delaware County man and member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys organization, has been sentenced to prison for his actions during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol, U.S. Department of Justice says.
A Pennsylvania man and member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys organization, was sentenced to prison Tuesday for his actions during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. Brian Healion, 33, of Upper Darby has been sentenced to 100 days in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution, according to the U.S. Department of Justice officials. Healion previously pleaded guilty to a felony charge of civil disorder on Feb. 22, 2024.
"Officials say the group then continued to march around the perimeter of the Capitol grounds before arriving at the Peace Circle at the edge of the restricted perimeter.Upon arrival at the U.S. Capitol, Healion concealed his face using a black gaiter. Proud Boys leadership then led the crowd, including Healion, in a chant and a surge toward the police line.
