999 crews were called to the property
Emergency services raced to Annandale Street in the city's Govanhill on Sunday afternoon after receiving a report of a fire within a property.Cops and fire crews investigated the incident and determined that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.spokesperson said:"Around 5.40pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023, we were called to a report of a fire at a property on Annandale Street, Glasgow."An 83-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A joint investigation was carried out with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the fire is not suspicious.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
