In the video, the woman takes a lock of hair and gets her straighteners ready to create a flicked effect at the ends. However, at this point she says they've not been cleaned yet. The finished product was a 90s-style blowout look that certainly wouldn't have looked as good if the straightener hadn't first been cleaned. The woman urged people to take care while doing this though, making sure the straightener is fully cool and that the towel is only very slightly damp.
