Research found that driveways being rented out near Liverpool Airport are the most expensive in the UK
People living near to Liverpool John Lennon Airport are charging up to £556 to use their driveways as parking spaces, according to new research. The airport in Speke has a number of parking options, with weekly fees in its long stay car park beginning at £39.99. The airport also has car parks for drop offs, short stay, meet and greet, fast track and a multi-storey.
The Manchester Evening News reports research from online used car retailer cinch analysed data for alternative car parking options at the main airports in the UK and looked at how much money can be earned by local residents. The study has revealed that some people living near Liverpool Airport are renting out their driveways for up to £556 a week - the highest amount in the UK.
