Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott highlights how some Coalition politicians in recent times have not “created a contest” with the other side of politics.
“If it’s a choice between Labor and Labor-lite, people tend to go for the real thing,” Mr Abbott told Sky News host Peta Credlin. Mr Abbott hopes a new podcast series hosted by himself and Ms Credlin will be an exercise in the “rediscovering of the centre-right” so the next Coalition government can be “better than the last one”.
