A person has died following an incident which disrupted Glasgow trains.
Due to this, services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh via Falkirk High faced being cancelled, delayed, or revised.
Now, the British Transport Police said they were called to the line near Falkirk shortly after 9.15pm on Wednesday, April 3.They were pronounced dead at the scene. Officers do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal. A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Falkirk at around 9.18pm yesterday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal.”
