Police are responding to a stabbing at the TechBoston Academy in Dorchester Wednesday, according to Boston police.
Officers were called to the pilot school on Peacevale Road around 12:25 p.m. for a report of one person stabbed. According to the district, a fight broke out between two teens at the library. One was stabbed, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Boston Public Schools confirmed they were working with police and said the district crisis response team will be available to support staff and students."We know this incident will cause many to feel anxious, but I want to reassure all members of the TechBoston Academy Community this was an isolated incident between two students, and that we will take every step necessary to ensure that our students feel safe and welcomed.
