Peter Kay has been slammed by some of his own fans after he had two 'hecklers' ejected from his Manchester show - one of whom he is said to have compared to Lisa Riley.
One attendee told the Manchester Evening News: "Peter Kay said 'right this guy, where are you?' He stood up, the lights went on him. Peter Kay then said 'right, you're going out.' The guy just stood there and had his hands up laughing, everyone thought it was a joke. "He then proceeded to shout at them for a good three to five minutes. The audience were mixed, some couldn’t believe it and were obviously annoyed and others were laughing, either thinking it was part of the show or going along with it."
"It was out of order, he was clearly annoyed at something. There was no need to escalate the situation to that extreme" the audience member told the M.E.N. Other fans took to social media to express their disappointment. One person said: "I’ve lost a lot of respect for @peterkay_co_uk after the way he treated the heckler at the end of his Manchester 8 Feb show, having him removed by force by his entourage, and cracking jokes bout it over the 3-4 mins it took. No manners. Huge waste of money."
