Peter Lawwell was involved in a heated debate with Celtic diehards over the club's lack of transfer activity after their 3-0 victory over St Mirren in Paisley.
Lawwell returned to the club as non-executive chairman last year, having previously served as Celtic's CEO between 2003 and 2021. The 65-year-old has often been criticised by supporters for his lack of support to managers in the transfer market down the years, and that came to ahead outside the SMISA Stadium after Brendan Rodgers' side had warmed up for next Sunday's first Old Firm clash of the season against Rangers in style.
