Eriksen is closing in on 100 appearances for United, having joined the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer of 2022. Manchester United beat Premier League rivals Tottenham and Brentford to a deal for Eriksen but the Denmark international has only been a bit-part player at Old Trafford.
Unfortunately, Eriksen no longer has that energy. ‘He’s a great player. Some of the things he does on the field… He’s still so good on the ball and technically. I think Ajax would be a fantastic move for him.’ Ruben Amorim took over at Old Trafford in November Amorim is intent on sticking by his footballing philosophy despite a largely dismal start to his reign as Manchester United boss.
