The fund is to help theatre professionals affected by coronavirus.

creator Phoebe and Oscar-award winning actress Olivia are putting together a new fund to provide grants to theatre professionals who are now facing financial hardship.They’ve managed to enlist the help of their celebrity pals to help get things started, with Thor star Tom Hiddleston, Suranne Jones and Gillian Anderson all founding donors of the fund.

They join the likes of Game Of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, James Corden, Richard Curtis, Sir Ian McKellen, Keeley Hawes, Dame Emma Thompson, Hugh Bonnevill and Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who are all founding donors too.The fund works by providing immediate and long-term financial relief, with donors contributing a lump sum and a fixed, confidential percentage of their income over the next two year.

It’s already received a pledge of £1million and has got together £500,000 so far, with all funds going towards ensuring there’s a future for the theatre industry. It will be dispersed and monitored in partnership with The Royal Theatrical Fund and the Fleabag Support Fund, set up by Phoebe back in April.News of the fund comes after
