A new eatery called Pie Eyed has opened its doors in Belfast's Common Market, offering a selection of hand-pressed pies. The reviewer visited on a Thursday evening and sampled the Moroccan Spiced Lamb and Steak and Guinness pies, declaring both delicious.

Common Market has a brand new offering with Pie Eyed setting up shop with hand pressed pies so we headed down to the city centre spot on Thursday evening to give it a go.

The sides on the menu were just as simple with the choice of mash, gravy and peas. So there definitely won't be too long spent deciding what to go for here.Steak and Guinness has become a classic on the pie scene and I'm told it went down an absolute treat during Ireland's first match of The Six Nations. We got this one with mash and gravy which was a brilliant decision and this was absolutely fantastic, the flavours were spot on and has become a classic for a reason.

Now to the price, each pie was £8 and can be made into a 'meal deal' for £12 which includes mash, gravy and peas. I think this is quite reasonable for Belfast City Centre and the portion sizes definitely matched up to the price point.
