While Filipinos in China are not facing any Covid-related problems, foreign service there took the hit from the ongoing surge of cases.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. revealed this before leaving Beijing, China, concluding his three-day state visit on Jan. 5.“Ang pinaka-malaking problema yung sa foreign service dahil marami sa mga embassy natin at saka sa mga consulate natin eh talagang tinamaan ,” he added.
“[I]n fact even the — even our diplomats, despite the fact that they have been — some of them have tested positive, they have — they continue to work from home,” he said.
