And the unit could host bookmakers Ladbrokes if a proposal to change the use of the shop is given the green light. Bosses say the existing shop is "cramped" and does not meet the standards of comfort expected by customers and employees.The proposed new unit will also be given a high quality fit out, according to the applicant.A planning statement reads: "The existing betting office on Croft Street is cramped and no longer meets the standards of comfort and fit out expected by today’s customers and employees.
