Three fire appliances and specialist resources rushed to the Icelandair flight from Reykjavik after the alarm was raised at around 1.30pm on Friday, July 19.

Fire crews scrambled to a Glasgow Airport runway on Friday afternoon after 'smoke' was seen coming from a plane's tyre.

The Boeing 757-308 departed the Icelandic capital at around 10am before emergency crews were alerted to an 'incident' shortly after landing. However, footage taken by a member of the public appears to show smoke coming from below the aircraft.
