Nottinghamshire Police were called to a busy Nottingham road following reports of a sudden death. Officers attended the A453, near Clifton, at around 5.20am on Thursday morning, May 4.

The force were called to the scene after reports of a man's sudden death. The incident is not being treated as suspicious, Nottinghamshire Police added. Police passed on their condolences to the man's family and friends. A file will be prepared to the coroner, the force said. Detective Sergeant Al Prentice, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This tragic incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner. Our thoughts are with this man’s family and friends and this difficult time.”
