Police cordoned off an area outside of the Alexander Thomason Hotel this morning, May 31.

Police were alerted to the incident at the Alexander Thomson Hotel on Argyle Street this morning, May 31, and quickly arrived at the scene and cordoned off an area outside the hotel, reports Glasgow Live.

An eyewitness said that the premises next to the hotel had been taped off with the building's shutters remaining down. An image from the scene shows a police van sitting stationery at the hotel, with police tape in front of it, as morning commuters walk past.
