A new episode of Manhunt on Channel 4 follows police as they receive intelligence about a gunman heading towards a popular Manchester music venue. The programme details the race against time to locate and apprehend the suspect before he can reach the concert.

The final part of a three-part series will track the incident from the moment the intel is received to its dramatic conclusion. It was a race against time to foil the suspect. A Greater Manchester Police firearms unit and the Force Critical Wanted Unit - the manhunters - worked together on the case. A firearms unit parked in the vicinity of Peter Street intercepts the car as it arrives outside the venue. In a dramatic swoop the suspect is pulled from the vehicle and arrested at gunpoint. It turns out he is not armed but was later convicted of other offences.
"We also take on people wanted for firearms discharges, high-level drug offending, and other violent crimes where we suspect the person has access to firearms.
