A man and woman, aged 56 and 34, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A man was left with serious injuries following an incident in Glasgow's Haghill area in the early hours of this morning, June 27.

The 33-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the 'major' police incident on Walter Street, at around 1.35am this morning. The nature of his injuries is currently unknown.Police Scotland said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.Glasgow Live previously reported that Walter Street and Aitken Street had been taped off following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man seriously injured on Walter Street, Glasgow, around 1.35am on Tuesday, 27 June, 2023, “Emergency services attended and the 33-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. “A 56-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
