Police are continuing to investigate a horror crash on the M61 in which a 20-year-old man died and three others were seriously injured. David Eubank, from Bolton , died after the smash on the southbound carriageway of the motorway close to Rivington Services at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, October 15. A Citroen C1 collided with the safety barrier before hitting a Mercedes. David was a backseat passenger in the Citroen.
Inquest hears more details about tragedy that saw man, 29, die in Dovestone Reservoir The inquest into David's death opened yesterday at Preston Coroner's Court. The brief hearing was told that a police investigation into the collision is ongoing and a date for the final inquest will be scheduled once it has been completed, Lancs Live reports.
