'Although it has been my biggest achievement it’s been my hardest'
A beloved café in south Manchester known for serving up its 'mega' breakfasts is closing after six years.
But the owners behind the sandwich shop say they will be closing at the end of the month following a series of health issues. The owners said they were ‘gutted’ about the decision but added there are plans for the venue under new ownership.Posting on Facebook, the cafe’s owner Toyah Barker said it will ‘cease trading’ next Saturday . The post said: “It is with heavy heart that I announce Momma Bs will cease trading on 28th September.
Sharing thanks to their ‘best’ staff, the post also thanked the venue’s regulars for their custom. Toyah’s message added: “I would like to say a massive thank you to all our customers. Without you, it wouldn’t have been possible to carry out my dream of owning my own cafe.”
