A hardcore 911 GT3 RS has been spied on the Nürburgring with extensive aerodynamic upgrades
Porsche and Manthey Racing joined forces in 2013 and this has resulted in numerous victories on the track. Porsche’s 51% stake has also paved the way for a handful of packages over the years. Another is apparently on the horizon as spy photographers have snapped a hardcore prototype undergoing testing on the Nürburgring. Believed to be an extreme 911 GT3 RS MR, the prototype immediately draws attention thanks to its green wheels and massive rear wing.
It remains unclear if there are any other upgrades, but Manthey offers an assortment of goodies for the 911 GT3 RS. These include an adjustable coilover suspension, magnesium wheels, and high-performance brake pads. Customers can also get an assortment of carbon fiber components including a Gurney flap and an engine deck lid cover.
