Scottish Power has taken the action which will affect the G41 and G42 areas of the city.A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council's roads said:"Due to severe flooding Scottish Power has had to carry out an urgent shutdown at 8.01pm.
"This has affected the G41 and G42 area of the city and thus caused the traffic signals in these areas to go all dark."Road users are advised to drive with caution in the affected areas." It comes after we reported that cops had locked down major sections of Aitkenhead Road in the Southside. It is not known if the incidents are related.
