Clubs NSW said it had terminated Josh Landis’ employment on Tuesday afternoon.

on Monday afternoon that the Mr Perrottet’s support for cashless gaming was a result of his “Catholic gut” rather than evidence proving it curbed criminal activity and problem gambling.

Mr Perrottet is yet to release the full details of the cashless gaming card policy and a suite of gambling reforms that are expected to be applied to more than 90,000 poker machines across the state. “[The comments] are an attack on every single person of faith in our state,” Mr Perrottet said on Tuesday morning. “It is incredibly inappropriate and offensive to people of faith right across NSW.”

“It was a poor attempt to explain there is a lack of evidence for the policy and the premier is a moral person who intrinsically wants to help those who are causing themselves harm,” he said.His departure comes at a pivotal time for the lobby group which is leading the battle against cashless gaming cards in the lead-up to the election. Clubs across the state claim the initiative will penalise everyday Australians for the criminal actions of a few.
