Sepp van den Berg is likely to seal a transfer away from Liverpool before the summer transfer window closes next week but a move to Bayer Leverkusen will only happen on one condition
Liverpool have reportedly accepted two offers worth around £25million from Bayer Leverkusen and Brentford for Sepp van den Berg. However, Wolves and Leicester City hold the key to the Reds' next transfer.
PSV Eindhoven saw a bid worth around £10m rebuffed for Van den Berg earlier this summer. He remains on the radar of newly-promoted Southampton, Wolfsburg and Mainz. Sky Sports Germany meanwhile, state Alonso called Van den Berg to convince him over a move to the Bundesliga. It's added that personal terms are not expected to be an issue if he does agree to join Alonso's team after 'concrete talks' with Liverpool this week.
It's said Odilon Kossounou has been offered to Premier League clubs including Wolves and Leicester. The Foxes have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old before and after three seasons with the Bundesliga champions, he could be moving on before next week's deadline.
