Prince Harry leaves Balmoral alone just 12 hours after arriving to mourn Queen's death
Prince Harry has made his way out of Balmoral less than 24 hours after arriving to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Flight data shows he was still in the air during the sombre announcement about his beloved grandmother yesterday. Harry's relationship with the monarch had been strained for several years following his and wife Meghan's move to step down as senior member of the Firm back in 2020. The couple made the decision in a bid to secure their financial independence while also maintaining a level of privacy from the media.
His role as president of The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust was also relinquished, while Kate Middleton took over as patron of the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League.
