A Royal Triple
Blackpool residents have praised the inclusion of Princess Diana on a mural to commemorate the upcoming coronation of King Charles III.
The mum, 48, lives in Blackpool with her partner Helen, children and grandchildren. She says she was keen to paint a mural to commemorate the upcoming coronation.Kirsty updates the mural painted on her gate every few months. Her themes for the gate vary, but are often designed to get people talking, and start difficult conversations. In September, she painted a tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died last year.
"She was the people's princess. I actually ran it past some of the neighbours as they're royalists. When the Queen died I gave them some pictures drawn in framed just so it would soften the blow that I was painting over the queen mural I did. This mural took around six hours in total for Kirsty to paint, but she says it was worth it. Some people have even told her it's her best work yet.
