The new James Bond game from the creators of Hitman will not star the new movie actor but feature a new and younger face for 007.
This probably isn’t what Io are aiming for For the first time in four years, Hitman developer Io Interactive have spoken about their upcoming new James Bond game – or rather games. Although Io Interactive announced they’re making a James Bond game, referred to as Project 007, back in 2020, they’ve never shown anything of it in public and the only thing they’ve said up till now is that it’s ‘going to tell the story of the first Bond and how he becomes the secret agent that he is.
So it’s not a gamification of a movie. It’s completely beginning and becoming a story, hopefully for a big trilogy out there in the future,’ says Abrak. ‘And equally important and exciting, it’s a new Bond. It’s a Bond we built from ground up for gamers. It’s extremely exciting with all the tradition and all the history there is there together to work on this together with the family of creating a young Bond for gamers; a Bond that the gamers can call their own and grow with.
